Austrian government subsidy for electronic device repairs
Device Repair Bonus is the successor to the former Repair Bonus program.
It covers 50% of the gross costs – up to €130 for repairs, servicing, or maintenance, and up to €30 for a cost estimate. Applications are possible from January 12, 2026.
We repair computers, laptops, monitors, and tablets of all kinds (including Apple devices), as well as printers.
All of our services are eligible for this subsidy.

Austrian government subsidy for electronic device repairs
The Geräte-Retter-Prämie, the successor to the Repair Bonus, supports the repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic devices.
Repairing electrical appliances is an important step toward greater environmental and climate protection. Repairing devices helps conserve valuable resources, save energy, and reduce electronic waste. At the same time, extending the lifespan of products supports regional repair businesses, preserves skilled craftsmanship, and helps maintain local jobs.
Through the Geräte-Retter-Prämie, the Federal Ministry (BMLUK) supports the repair, servicing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic devices typically used in private households. Private individuals residing in Austria can apply for a repair voucher from January 12, 2026, and receive reimbursement of 50% of the costs – up to 130 euros per repair order, plus an additional 30 euros for a cost estimate.
The funding covers major household appliances, small electrical devices, as well as lamps, sewing machines, power tools, computers, laptops, monitors, small office devices, hi-fi systems, and TVs. Devices that are no longer eligible for funding (unlike under the previous Repair Bonus scheme) include e-bikes, bicycles, smartphones and mobile phones, as well as luxury, wellness, or purely entertainment devices such as massage chairs, foot spas, or karaoke systems.
